Berlin to Austria 9.9.09

Got up early, packed the car and drove 1000 km to the south of Austria. We got stopped by the police at a tank station, they of course wanted to check our car papers, they had of course never seen an Indian car on the German roads before. They were very friendly and wished us a good journey. People keep starring at our car wondering which planet we have arrived from. Yes it is great to drive an Indian car in Europe; you are the centre of attraction. All praise to the German motor roads, they are great. Austria is the most beautiful country we have ever seen, got stuck in a tunnel of 6 km length for about ½ hour. At around 5 pm we drove into Spittal, placed next to a beautiful lake, we ended the day we some typical Austrian food.
